Left something in my rental

I left my carseat and my granddaughter's jacket in the car. I called that night and the next day but I could never reach anyone on the phone. I called the number where I rented the car and no one has returned my call. They said it would be sent to me but it's very difficult to get in touch with IAH airport.

User's recommendation: The pick up and return was very smooth but don't leave anything behind.

Checking avoiding payment for drop off

I wanted the check if I eill rent a car in Seattle and drop in San zFrancisco and after a day pick in zsan Francisco another car and drop in Vegas, would it be without drop off charge at another location

Wrong dropooff date recorded in my rental car

I rented a car from Alamo for one week. The dates were July 4-11 for $647.52. When I got my credit card bill I was charged $2417.97 for a rental that was from July 4 until July 21. On July 11 I was on an airplane heading back to South Florida. My credit card bill shows numerous charges starting on July 12 in Florida. I want this issue resolved ASAP please

I want to know why for the last number of years I could get a 3 day over the weekend rental in the neighborhood of $100 for a mid sized car, and now the same car and sane time period is nearly $400. ??? ...they responded saying it was basically supply and demand... 2/3...

Unprofessional customer service

Hello, I had a reservation at Mia airport c# 132767**** I made a reservation throw airlinecrewdiscount web since I am a crew member. They reject me after been standing on the line for 2 hours ! And told me this web reservation is only for Lufthansa crew and not other crew members ..,,,in a very unprofessional manners ! I contacted the web to verify and they told me every crew members are eligible for the discount ! I called the customer service Alamo and explained and still haven t heard anything back yet ! I had to pay almost double and wait another 2 hours to rent from others ! I am very disappointed and mad at Alamo service in Mia airport and need a compensation ASAP please. Regards, Capt.Reza Ghods

On March 31st 2021 I was to pick up a Tahoe from Saint Louis Lambert Field, STL 10124 Natural Bridge Road St Louis MO 63134. I never rented the vehicle, I showed up to get it but Alamo would not let me rent it. I am certain because of this I am due a full Refund. My Confirmation Number is 132616****. My name is Stephanie Holloman and I can be reached at 270748****. I hope this matter can be resolved in a timely matter.

User's recommendation: Do not think you can rent a car without a Major Credit Card EVEN IF you’re able to Reserve one.

Response time for roadside assistance

If you happen to end up with a disabled vehicle while going to places to visit while on vacation do not worry! The response time to remedy the situation is only ONE PHONE AWAY. I have rented cars from Alamo in San Diego ever since they located there and were going business out of a portable office that was moved onto a vacant lot near the San Diego Airport. in the late seventies but, things have changed. Being rescued on the road for whatever the reason is fast, reliable and more than courteous with regards to whatever the problem might be. That is when the real fun begins! After we got our rental (flat tire) back to where we were staying I IMMEDIATELY called the local number that I had used for years to talk to a rep at the AIRPORT CAR RENTAL CENTER itself. I eventually found out that they CANNOT BE CALLED DIRECTLY to DEAL WITH A LIVE PERSON! The car had the flat tire on a Sunday mid-afternoon. We got the car back to condo rental and tried to call someone AT THE AIRPORT to get information on what types of vehicles were available I preferred to have a vehicle ready to use when I returned and not waste any more of my time. It is Monday (Martin Luther King Day) and I was still trying to contact someone at the airport location without any luck. Early in the AFTERNOON I finally received a call from KATE. She was very considerate, empathic and courteous. She told me to just bring the car in, let the people that I had talked to her and I would be able to pick out the vehicle I wanted. However, after she called I was is in no mood to return the vehicle at that time. Today is Tuesday morning, and we are going to the rental center to pick out a different car. In short, all the calling I had to both Sunday night and the greater part of Monday morning was a pain-in-the-ass! One final comment...just what is a FREE UPGRADE on my next rental? I have yet to be offered one!!!

Rental car reserved was not available, had to take a much smaller car. The company did apologize and credited onr day of the rental.
