Alamo has reached an agreement to drop the charges as information they had was in error as to the incident that occurred..

Original review posted by user Oct 11, 2017

On June 7, 2017, we returned our rental car to the Cleveland Ohio airport location. The car was in good condition with no damages.

We subsequently received a letter dated June 8 and another June 13 alledging damages in the amount of $725.31. We have gone in circles trying to deal with Alamo to dispute and resolve this issue and have now been turned over to a collection agency. Alamo representatives inform us they can no longer work with us. I find this absurd.

I am an honest person and would gladly pay any damages we caused, but there were no damages to the car when we returned it! This is exactly the same thing I have read in many other posts regarding damage scams by Alamo.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.
